Nostalgia Overload

That twisting pit you get in your stomach when you realize how many friends you don’t talk to anymore who used to be some of your best. The anxiety of thinking about everyone’s that’s leaving next year and all the changes. The sudden realization that soon it’s going to be you and this is pretty much the last chance to fix any mistakes. The fear of missing out now and regretting it all later.

I’m trying really hard

to not think about 2012 leaving. I just can’t imagine school without them. And now the old officer teams are being replaced with new ones, last meetings have come and gone, things we’ve looked forward to all year are over. I can’t console myself with “there’s still International Night and States and Spotlite left.” It’s all over; it’s becoming a hell of a lot more real that you’re not going to be here next year. I can’t believe it or imagine it and I don’t want to. Nothing—FBLA, Interact, friends, home, family, life—nothing will be the same. I’m just not ready for this much change. Please don’t go :(

This is incredible.

and this is when I’m proud to be a matador.

I am a matador, and I wouldn’t be the same if I wasn’t.

The Lottery

My math teacher yesterday: ”The lottery is just god’s way of punishing those who don’t understand basic mathematics.”

Then my dad was checking lottery numbers this morning. Top 3 in his class for math in college whatttupp.

Things to I need to learn

  1. To ace ACT Science Section
  2. Math.
  3. How to keep my room clean for more than 24 hours after I clean it
  4. Not procrastinating/staying focused
  5. Effective ways to hide my emotions

I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people, too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away. Unknown (via kari-shma)

That’s how it’s gotta be,
It’s coming down to nothing more than apathy
I’d rather run the other way than stay and see
the smoke and who’s still standing when it clears.

I’m just tired

Tired of everything. Tired of school. Tired of studying. Tired of stress. Tired of not feeling good enough. Tired of everyone. Tired of everyone else’s problems. Tired of other people’s happiness. Tired of talking a lot and acting very little. Tired of thinking, and overthinking. Tired of wishing. Tired of hoping. Tired of regretting.

Tired of complaining.

Tired of emotions.
